Hades and Lucas are straight fire together. This starts a series of events that I could never have predicted before I picked up the book. Suddenly, this drop dead gorgeous would-be stripper, Lucas, approaches her and wants to buy her a drink. The opening scene has Hades drowning her embarrassment and sorrows at her club 7th Circle after she made a move on Cass (readers of the Madison Kate series are probably squeeing with excitement right now) and being shut down hard (and now those same readers are probably booing). I mean not that I’m a crime lord- not by day anyway… But like I said it worked really well. It’s actually genius making Hades a woman, I loved it, as a matter of fact I identified with her so hard. Hades is a woman- gasp! I know, I know but if you think about it if the infamous Hades had been a man there was no way that he would be sharing a chick with anyone. But I digress, so like everyone else that has been following Tate James I couldn’t wait to read 7th Circle and find out the identity of Hades- we didn’t even know whether Hades was a man or a woman! So I waffled back and forth on this review and how much to reveal because I absolutely don’t want to ruin the reading experience so I will reveal some mild details but you won’t find any major spoilers here- stop crying, when you’re done reading this you can head right over to Amazon and start reading the book.
